Ken is a 3 year old American Staffordshire mix who was surrendered to the shelter in March 2012 when his pregnant owner felt she could no longer handle him due to his size.
Ken is 64 pounds of love, and is very sociable and friendly. He’s looking for a safe, loving home with a family who will appreciate his high energy level and playful demeanor.
Ken loves his toys!
Ken takes treats gently and does not guard his food bowl. He’s learning tricks like “come”, “down”, and “sit”. He’d love a family who will take time to teach him many more tricks. He’s eager to learn!
Ken would do best in a home with children 13 and older. He also does well with calm, non-dominant female dogs.
If you are interested in adopting sweet Ken, please contact the Humane Society for Hamilton County at 317.773.4974. You must be 21 or older to adopt Ken, and his adoption fee is $90.
If you are unable to adopt Ken but would still like to help him find his forever home, please share this post with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest!
