Today I’d love to introduce you to Pacer, a beautiful boy waiting in at the Humane Society for Hamilton County in Noblesville, a suburb of Indianapolis, for his forever family to take him home.
Pacer is 5 years old, a playful and energetic Shepherd/Beagle mix. He’s very intelligent, and already knows commands like sit, stay, lie down, and come.
Pacer isn’t a fan of cats, but he’d do great in a home with kids 13 or older. He’s sweet and very affectionate, but he can be nervous in unfamiliar situations. He asks that if you take him home, you give him plenty of time to get comfortable in his new surroundings.
Pacer needs an experienced dog owner who is willing to take the time to work with him and help him become the great family dog he’s meant to be. He’d love to go to dog parks and learn to how to be social.
