This handsome fella is Atticus. He’s waiting at the Humane Society for Hamilton County in Noblesville, Indiana. He’s hoping for a loving family to take him home and spoil him rotten. I mean, how can you resist those big brown eyes?
Atticus was adopted from the shelter in August of last year, but was recently returned because his owner is moving. He’s a 5 year old Boxer mix, weighing in at 62 pounds. He’s a big boy who doesn’t know his own strength, but he’s a sweetheart who just needs a firm but loving owner to teach him how to be a great family dog.
Atticus needs encouragement to build his confidence, and will do best in a home with adults and teenagers over age 16.
Atticus’ adoption fee is $90; however he qualifies for the PAWS program, which means an adopter 55 or older can take him home for a reduced fee. He is also eligible for 30 days of pre-paid pet health insurance.
