Tomorrow is my birthday, and I don’t tell you that because I want you to make a big deal about it. At least, I don’t want you to make a big deal out of it for me.

What I’d really love for you to do is to make a donation of any amount to the Humane Society for Hamilton County‘s spay and neuter fund.
The single biggest problem in our shelters today is the fact that people don’t spay and neuter their pets. I know you’ve heard me say this before, but it bears repeating: One unaltered female dog, having only one litter of puppies, can result in 64,000 more dogs over a 6 year period.
That’s why it’s so important to spay and neuter. All dogs and cats at the Humane Society for Hamilton County, where I am a volunteer,  are “fixed” before going to their new home.
If you’d prefer to donate to your local shelter, by all means, go ahead and do that! I’d love for you to support my shelter, but knowing that you are helping save shelter animals in your own town is good enough for me!
Will you make a difference today? On behalf of shelter animals everywhere, I thank you!
