I know that with the economy in such rough shape, this time of year is hard for a lot of families. I hate to imagine anyone worrying about how they’re going to make Christmas special for their little ones, or how they’re going to be able to afford to serve a beautiful holiday dinner. I especially hate thinking about anyone stressing over how they’ll pay the electric bill or buy milk for their kids.
God has really blessed me. I have a beautiful home, a great part-time job outside the home, and I’m running an in-home business that I love, too. My husband has a great job, we have survived a very difficult year, and we are very fortunate.

I love sharing the feel good stories you post but I also share the pups that need new homes. I really hope that my doing that has made a difference. I have two dogs now but over the years I’ve had four different ones that were all rescues.

I would like to gift a pet goody basket to one of the families my nonprofit helps. These families are struggling to provide basic food and veterinary care (that’s where we come in) so I’d like those pets to have some “spoils” that they don’t normally get too!

I love the breed they are wonderful dogs, I have a vision impaired one and a deaf aussie and an old dachshund lol. They are absolutely rotten. Very photogenic too! My Christmas wish is to be able to get her fixed and Micro Chipped and to obedience, not as easy up here as in South Carolina! Had a great trainer Anderson Dog Works with Jane Fink! Excellent trainer! so for all of you in Anderson SC go see her!

The top of my wish list is to help my local shelter get new dog kennels. My sisters and I forgo exchanging gifts to help the homeless animals. Last year we filled the shelter with Kuranda beds so every dog had a comfy bed for Christmas if they didn’t get a home. :o)

Top of my wishlist THIS year is to finally have a good Christmas. Every year we are so broke but this year I have a good paying job which makes thing so much better! Good presents for all..including the 4 legged babies in the house!
Well, I’ll limit to what would actually be possible with a 100 dollar gift card. And it would probably be books. I love books and have a pretty decent number of them, but could always use more, especially of my favorites. And I reread books all the time, so love owning them.

That the children and pets of the world are taken care of with at least their basic’s that they need… that those poor animals in the shelters stay warm and get to have someone hold them, love them and show them the better things of life.
