Product Review: The Dogs Bark Bakery

The fine people at The Dogs Bark Bakery contacted me recently to ask if I’d be interested in reviewing their products. I hesitated for a moment because Nike Jayne, the Lazy Pit Bull, has some allergies and I’m very careful about what I feed her.

But I did some research and I found that The Dogs Bark Bakery uses only fresh ingredients, and they add no preservatives. Their products contain no meat or meat by-products, and they are baked fresh using human grade, locally grown ingredients.

So I thought, why not? Both of my dogs, Nike and her miniature dachshund counterpart, Sadie, are treat freaks, and if I can give them something that’s not only healthy for them but also tastes great, what do I have to lose?

I received two adorable 8-ounce boxes of treats: Banana Biscotti and Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies. My dogs love bananas, and they love peanut butter even more, so these treats seemed tailor-made for them.

And hello? My girls absolutely loved these amazing treats! They couldn’t get enough!

The Dogs Bark Bakery makes their treats in 2 sizes: Barks for big dogs, and Bites for smaller dogs. Each box is $9.95, and shipping is free. And how cute would it be if they came to your door via this:

In addition to the flavors I received, they also offer Vegan Blueberry-Banana Delights, Tomato Garlic Biscotti, Cinnamon Rolls, and more!

Rhonda, the owner and baker at The Dogs Bark Bakery, attended cooking school and enjoys baking and cooking for both people and dogs. I like knowing that the person behind these treats cares about the health and happiness of animals – can you say that about those companies making and distributing products from China?

Nike and Sadie have given me permission to tell you that they whole-heartedly loved the treats they received from The Dogs Bark Bakery, and they’re pretty sure your dogs will love them, too. Visit their website, and check out their Facebook page. Be sure to tell them that The Lazy Pit Bull sent you!

The fine print:
The Dog Bark Bakery sent these items to me, free of charge, in exchange for my unbiased review.
