This week’s 52 Snapshots of Life theme is LABOR, which is perfect for the week of Labor Day in the United States and Canada.
However, I’m bending the rules a little bit this week because something big and amazing and momentous and heartwarming happened: after 1,692 days at the Humane Society for Hamilton County, sweet Cashmere has been adopted!
When I say I’m bending the rules, that’s because I didn’t personally take this photo of Cashmere and her new family, affectionately called the Man and Woman. But because helping Cashmere find her forever home was a labor of love for us (we featured her here on the blog twice, here and here), we felt it was appropriate to share her wonderful news here.
We’re so happy for you, baby girl! Wishing you so much love, happiness, and snuggles for the rest of your days!
52 Snapshots is a weekly themed photo challenge, but it isn’t just for pet bloggers! It’s for anyone who loves to take photos, and everyone is invited to participate! Simply snap a photo based on the current week’s theme (shown in the image above), and then share your photo in a blog post, on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or wherever you like. It’s so much fun seeing what everyone comes up with for each week’s theme, and occasionally it’s okay to bend the rules a little bit, like I’m doing this week.
On Fridays, I share my photo for the week here in a blog post, and I give you a chance to link up with me and the other participants. All you have to do is simply add your link below and share your photos with the world! If you’re sharing your photos on social media, please be sure to use hashtag #52Snapshots so we can find you!
Just a couple of rules: first, if you’re linking up, please be sure to link DIRECTLY TO your #52Snapshots post – don’t link to your main website URL. And second, if you are not participating in the photo challenge, please don’t link up here. This blog hop is only for photos of this week’s theme, and unrelated links will be removed. Thanks for understanding!
