We used to live in an older neighborhood that was filled with wildlife. Birds of all kinds, squirrels, rabbits, even skunks and possums. You just never knew what to expect to find playing in our yard.
When we moved to our new house about 10 years ago, it was a relatively new neighborhood with many small, young trees and very little wildlife. It was quite a change from what we were used to, and we really missed seeing all the little animals.
Thankfully, over the last few years, we’ve noticed an increase in wildlife at our new home. In fact, our yard is now home to a family of bunnies, countless chipmunks, birds of all kinds, and even the occasional family of ducks or geese. The bunnies are especially friendly, usually letting us get within a few feet of them. Of course, they know to take cover any time we’re out in the yard with Nike.
52 Snapshots is a weekly themed photo challenge, but it’s not just for pet bloggers! It’s for anyone who loves to take photos, and everyone is invited to participate! Simply snap a photo based on that week’s theme (shown in the image above), and then share your photo in a blog post, on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or wherever you like. It’s so much fun seeing what everyone comes up with each week!
On Fridays I share my photo for the week and I give you a chance to link up with me and the other participants. Just add your link below and share your photos with the world! If you’re sharing your photos on social media, please be sure to use hashtag #52Snapshots!
Just a couple of rules: first, if you’re linking up, please be sure to link DIRECTLY TO your #52Snapshots post – don’t link to your main website URL. And second, if you are not actually participating in photo challenge, please don’t link up a random post here. Your link will be removed. Thanks for understanding!
